Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Says Afghans Must Enter Pakistan with Valid Visas

Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has said that any Afghan national wishing to enter Pakistan must do so with a valid visa. Speaking to media representatives in the federal capital, he emphasized that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believes in resolving issues through political means and has never spoken against state institutions.

He stated that political matters should be settled within parliament, adding that leaders of various political parties have faced imprisonment in the past. Commenting on the law and order situation, the governor said that the security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are evident to everyone, as the province continues to face terrorism.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that the slogan “Pakistan Khappay” helped save the country, and stressed that Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan should return to their homeland. He claimed that Afghan nationals have been involved in terrorist activities within Pakistan.

He further questioned how businesses could operate in a province affected by terrorism and reiterated that Afghans must obtain visas before entering Pakistan. Referring to regional security, the governor said Pakistan had defeated India within four days, and the world witnessed Pakistan’s response. He added that today, countries around the world are eager to engage with Pakistan in trade and defense agreements.
