Pakistan has reaffirmed its full support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia. According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Somalia’s Foreign Minister, Abdulsalam Ali.
During the call, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s complete support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and condemned any actions that seek to undermine Somalia’s dignity or unity. He emphasized Pakistan’s principled stance in support of peace and stability in the region.
Somalia’s Foreign Minister Abdulsalam Ali expressed gratitude to Ishaq Dar for Pakistan’s continued support, stating that Pakistan’s role is of great importance to Somalia. Ishaq Dar further assured that Pakistan would continue to extend its full cooperation to Somalia at all relevant international forums, including the United Nations Security Council.
