Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Suhail Afridi Sends Official Letter to Punjab Over Protocol Breach

Peshawar (Bureau Report)

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has formally sent a letter to the Punjab government expressing serious concerns over alleged protocol violations during his recent visit to the province. In the letter, Afridi stated that he faced inappropriate behavior and misconduct during the visit, calling it an insult to his public mandate.

He criticized the excessive security measures, closure of public areas, and restricted access to motorway service areas, which caused major inconvenience to citizens. Afridi also alleged a social media smear campaign linking him to drugs, claiming it involved accounts connected to state institutions.

The CM demanded action against those responsible and assurances that such incidents would not recur. He emphasized that the letter should be considered an official record for future legal and governmental proceedings.
