President Asif Ali Zardari Expresses Condolences on Passing of Former Bangladeshi PM Khaleda Zia, Visits Bhutto Family Mausoleum

President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. In a message shared on “X” (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, President Zardari extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late leader and the people of Bangladesh, saying her leadership and services will always be remembered with respect. He prayed for Allah Almighty to grant her soul a place in His mercy.

In a separate gesture, President Zardari visited the Bhutto family mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. According to a statement issued by the President’s Secretariat on Monday, he offered floral tributes at the tombs of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and other family members, and recited Fatiha for their blessings.
