Rising international singer Shay Gill was injured during a live concert at Park View City, Islamabad. The incident occurred when a high-speed, uncontrolled drone, being used to record the performance, suddenly struck her hand.
According to organizers, the drone came dangerously close to Shay Gill during her performance and went out of the operator’s control, causing minor injuries to the singer. The concert was briefly disrupted as concern spread among the audience.
Shay Gill later reassured her fans via social media, stating, “I am perfectly fine, thank you all for your prayers and concern.” She also shared a video showing cuts and blood stains on her hands and wrist.
Concert organizers blamed the incident on an inexperienced drone operator, highlighting the risks posed by untrained personnel during large-scale events. Fans and social media users expressed concern, emphasizing that such accidents could have resulted in a much more serious incident.
