Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, strongly condemned remarks made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Shafi Jan regarding Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari.

In a post on social media platform “X” on Wednesday, the federal minister described the comments as “extremely low and unacceptable,” stating that such language is unbecoming of someone holding the position of Information Advisor.

Attaullah Tarar urged those responsible to control their language and respect the dignity of women, warning that failure to do so would compel authorities to ensure respect is enforced.

The federal minister’s remarks come amid rising concerns over public discourse and the need for accountability among political figures.
