KP Govt Orders Completion of Over 117,000 Pending Driving License Cards Within a Month

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Muhammad Soheil Afreedi has directed the Transport Department to complete the printing of over 117,000 pending driving license cards across the province within one month.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, the Transport Department has issued a district-wise schedule for the printing and delivery of the license cards. Relevant authorities have been instructed to ensure distribution according to the scheduled dates.

The statement said that in Hazara Division, the printing process will be completed by the first week of January 2026. In Malakand Division, pending driving license cards for Swat, Dir, and Buner will be delivered by mid-January 2026. In Peshawar Division, the distribution of driving license cards will be completed between January 23 and 26, 2026.
