Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Pakistan–Saudi Arabia Relations

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed his firm commitment to further deepening the longstanding brotherly ties between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office media wing, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki, called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to Saudi Arabia’s Prime Minister and Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He expressed satisfaction over the state of Pakistan–Saudi relations and reiterated his resolve to further strengthen the historic and fraternal ties between the two nations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Pakistan, which has brought the two countries even closer. He recalled his meetings with the Crown Prince earlier this year, describing them as highly productive and instrumental in elevating bilateral relations to new heights.

The Prime Minister also appreciated Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan during challenging times and its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability. The meeting included an exchange of views on recent regional and global developments, during which the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for maintaining peace and stability.

The Saudi Ambassador conveyed congratulatory messages to the Prime Minister from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s desire to further enhance cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
