A prestigious reception was held at Islamabad Club to honor Choudhry Abdullah Anser Barsa, the talented scion of the Barsa family, following his election as a member of the Columbus, Ohio City Council in the United States. The event was attended by representatives from civil society, political, social, and business communities across Pakistan.
Among the distinguished guests were Malik Abrar Ahmed, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Cabinet, former Federal Minister Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Pakistan Peoples Party leader Choudhry Iftikhar Kattarian, and prominent members of trade unions, Gujjar community organizations, bureaucrats, and other civil society figures.
Speaking at the occasion, Choudhry Iftikhar Ahmed Barsa, Chairman of the Gujjar Youth Forum Pakistan, expressed gratitude to all guests and highlighted the pride of the Barsa family in seeing one of their members achieve international recognition for Pakistan.
Choudhry Abdullah Anser Barsa, in his address, thanked the Barsa family and all attendees, pledging to strengthen the positive image of Pakistan and the Pakistani diaspora in the United States.
