ISLAMABAD STAFF REPORTER

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has significantly improved the recruitment process in 2025, ensuring merit-based appointments across various federal institutions, aligning with the government’s transparency agenda.

According to an official FPSC statement, the commission completed a total of 3,005 appointments during the year. Internal reforms have drastically reduced the time taken to process recruitment cases from 18–24 months to just 5–7 months.

Priority was given to hiring in the education and health sectors, while the CSS 2023 (Special) and CSS 2024 recruitment cycles were successfully completed. Additionally, 65% of interviews for CSS 2025 have already been conducted.

The statement also noted that a committee was formed under the Prime Minister’s direction to implement further reforms, which are expected to enhance the FPSC’s efficiency and transparency even further.
