Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has emphasized that whenever Pakistan and the US collaborate on a joint initiative, it yields fruitful results.
Speaking to the media, he said that Pakistan has always played its role in international security and highlighted that the Pak-US partnership is crucial for global peace and stability. He noted that Pakistan is located in a sensitive region and has a long-standing partnership with the United States.
Ambassador Sheikh said that last year saw a significant improvement in Pakistan-US relations, crediting the current leadership for the progress. He pointed out that Pakistan and the US are among the five most populous countries in the world, and maintaining close and positive relations between two large populations is necessary.
Referring to Pakistan’s achievements in the past, he stated that the country’s prestige has reached unprecedented heights on the global stage after its military victories.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh added that he is serving as an advisor in diplomacy and emphasized the growing importance of media in today’s world. He said that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in the US are progressing successfully and acknowledged that the public also plays a role in supporting these diplomatic initiatives.
