Bollywood Singer Zubeen Garg’s Murder Uncovered: Former Manager Siddharth Sharma Identified as Key Suspect

Mumbai (Web Desk):
New revelations have emerged in the mysterious death of Bollywood singer Zubeen Garg, famously known as the “Son of Assam.” Last September, Zubeen Garg’s death was reported as accidental drowning, shocking his fans. However, investigations by the Indian police now indicate that his death was a planned murder, motivated by the misappropriation of his earnings.

According to the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Zubeen’s former manager and key suspect Siddharth Sharma allegedly used Zubeen’s money to invest in a bottled water plant worth ₹1.1 crore, diverting funds unlawfully. The court has issued notices to Sharma and ordered the seizure of the plant, noting that the investment was made using Zubeen’s money without his consent, forming the basis of a murder plot.

The SIT highlighted that Sharma’s anonymous transactions and alleged money laundering underpin the entire case. Reports indicate that by November 2022, Sharma, who earned a monthly salary of ₹57,000, had accumulated millions in cash from show fees. Zubeen Garg passed away in Singapore in September 2025, prompting his family to demand a thorough investigation, which eventually led to questioning Siddharth Sharma and other suspects.

Zubeen Garg gained fame in Bollywood with hits like “Ya Ali” and remains an iconic figure in Indian music.
