Indian television actors Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have confirmed their separation and divorce after 14 years of marriage. The couple announced the decision through a joint statement on social media on Sunday, putting an end to speculation surrounding their relationship.
In their Instagram statement, the couple said that they have decided to take separate paths in life, while continuing to support and respect one another. They emphasized that peace, growth, kindness, and humanity have always guided their journey.
Addressing their family life, Jay and Mahhi stated that for the sake of their children — Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer — they remain committed to being the best parents and friends, ensuring love and stability for them despite the separation. They clarified that there is no villain or negativity behind their decision.
The actors also stressed that they prioritize mental peace over drama and will continue to respect, support, and remain friends with each other. They appealed to fans and well-wishers to respond with respect, love, and kindness.
Earlier, Mahhi Vij had addressed rumors in a YouTube video, clarifying that she had not demanded Rs 5 crore as alimony, dismissing speculation surrounding the divorce settlement.
