The hearing of the Judicial Complex attack case against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other accused was adjourned without any proceedings until February 6 due to the unavailability of Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.
According to the court, the hearing of a similar case registered at Secretariat Police Station was also adjourned without proceedings until January 12. No progress could be made in either case because of the judge’s absence.
During the hearing, PTI leaders and workers, including advocate Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan and other lawyers, appeared before the court. However, the court issued new dates as the proceedings could not move forward.
