Pakistani Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Meets Iranian Ambassador, Pledges to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam on Tuesday in Islamabad. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Iranian ambassador conveyed New Year greetings from Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and delivered a letter addressed to the Deputy Prime Minister, which Senator Ishaq Dar warmly acknowledged.

During the meeting, Ambassador Moghadam briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on progress made under various bilateral institutional mechanisms aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries. In response, Senator Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further expanding relations with Iran across key priority sectors, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration and strengthened bilateral ties.
