Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has intensified its crackdown on the adulterated milk mafia, successfully uncovering fake milk networks across various areas and seizing 15 milk tankers. According to the Director General of PFA, the “Pure Punjab Mission” is progressing successfully.
Effective operations were carried out after secret reconnaissance by vigilance teams, targeting hidden milk mafias in multiple locations. During these actions, 32 cases were registered and the tankers of 15 suppliers were sealed.
DG PFA Asim Javed stated that the special vigilance task force is conducting challenging and high-risk operations, consistently foiling the malicious plans of those endangering public health. He emphasized that the vigilance teams are active in the field and strict legal action is being taken against individuals compromising public health. Under the orders of the Chief Minister of Punjab, operations are ongoing to shut down businesses involved in harmful practices and bring the offenders to justice.
