Punjab Secretary of Forests and Wildlife, Captain (R) Tahir Zafar Abbasi, has approved transfers of several senior wildlife officers following recommendations by Chief Wildlife Ranger Mobeen Elahi. The official orders have been issued and are now in effect.
According to the orders, Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger Arfa Batool of the Rawalpindi Region has been transferred to the Gujrat Region, and the additional charge held by Syed Usman Al-Hassan has been withdrawn.
Ehsan Ahmed Raja has been transferred from Sahiwal Region to assume the position of Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger in Rawalpindi. Sajjad Hussain, previously Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger in Multan Region, has been reassigned to the office of Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab, Lahore.
Additionally, Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger Munawar Hussain Najmi of Khanewal has been transferred as Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger for Sahiwal, with Muhammad Nadeem, Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger of Multan, assuming additional charge of Khanewal District.
The reshuffle aims to enhance operational efficiency across Punjab’s forest and wildlife management framework.
