The annual fundraising event for Al-Khidmat Razi Hospital (CBR), titled “Infaq 2026: An Evening for Razi”, was successfully held in Islamabad. During the event, pledges totaling PKR 36 million were made to support the hospital’s expansion, development, and enhancement of medical facilities.
The event was attended by Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, President of Al-Khidmat, and Colonel Ashfaq Hussain as special guests. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman, in his address, stated that Razi Hospital provides modern and high-quality medical care to the residents of Zone Five, Islamabad, at highly affordable rates, while also offering free treatment to deserving and underprivileged patients. He described the hospital as a shining example of Al-Khidmat’s philanthropic vision and dedication to humanitarian service.
Colonel Ashfaq Hussain praised the hospital’s management, transparent administrative system, and patient-friendly environment, noting that institutions like Razi Hospital provide a reliable and effective alternative in the healthcare sector, supported by the continuous contributions of philanthropists.
The event was hosted by the Al-Khidmat Razi team, whose professional planning and efficient arrangements ensured its success. Chairman Nasrullah Randhawa led the event, highlighting the hospital’s role as a public-friendly, transparent, and stable healthcare institution. Managing Director Dr. Tahir Farooq presented a detailed briefing on the hospital’s performance, medical services, and future plans, emphasizing that Razi Hospital has gained public trust by providing high-quality healthcare at low costs.
Patron-in-Chief Altaf Ahmed Butt thanked all donors and supporters for their invaluable contributions. He especially acknowledged Jamaat-e-Islami, noting that while the CBR Society provided the land for the hospital, financial support from Al-Khidmat Foundation and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) was crucial in completing the building. Altaf Ahmed Butt also recognized the donations from the public, which played a key role in bringing this significant hospital into existence. He highlighted the hospital’s impact on improving healthcare standards and its growing reputation in CBR Town.
He appealed to the community, both local and overseas, to continue supporting initiatives that ensure better healthcare access for the underprivileged. Altaf Ahmed Butt reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing dignified and high-quality treatment to deserving patients.
The event concluded with the organizers expressing gratitude to all participants, donors, and volunteers, emphasizing that the pledges made under Infaq 2026 will play a vital role in strengthening Razi Hospital as a leading medical institution.
