President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, said that the blessed occasion of Lailat-ul-Miraj is a symbol of spiritual elevation, complete faith, and closeness to Allah for the entire Muslim Ummah. On this sacred night, Allah Almighty bestowed upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ an honor beyond human comprehension, which serves as a source of guidance for the faithful.

The President expressed these views in his message on the occasion of Lailat-ul-Miraj. He said that the event of Miraj teaches us that through strong faith, patience, and obedience, a person can attain the highest moral and spiritual levels. It also reminds us that trials and difficulties are temporary, while Allah’s mercy and support remain eternal.

President Zardari said that Lailat-ul-Miraj brought the gift of Salah (prayer) to the Muslim Ummah, establishing a direct and continuous connection between the Creator and His servant. Prayer is not merely an act of worship but also a means of discipline, character-building, and a sense of collective responsibility, laying the foundation for a just and balanced society.

He appealed to the nation to incorporate the teachings of Lailat-ul-Miraj into daily life, promoting tolerance, rule of law, social justice, and compassion for humanity. President Zardari emphasized that every citizen must contribute to building a state where peace, patience, and moral values define the national identity.

He noted that at a time when the world, particularly the Muslim Ummah, faces complex intellectual, social, and human challenges, Lailat-ul-Miraj conveys a message of unity, perseverance, and hope. This blessed night reminds us that only through solidarity and moral resolve can collective challenges be overcome.

President Zardari prayed that Allah bless Pakistan with peace, security, national harmony, and sustainable development, and grant the nation the ability to advance as a strong, dignified, and welfare-oriented state. He also prayed that Allah enable the people to understand the message of Lailat-ul-Miraj, implement it in their lives, and pass it on to future generations.
