Security forces eliminated 12 Fatah-ul-Khawarij terrorists during an operation in Kharan district, Balochistan. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, 15 to 20 terrorists from Fatah-ul-Khawarij carried out multiple terror attacks in Kharan city. The India-backed terrorists attacked the city police station, National Bank, and Habib Bank, looting 3.4 million PKR from the banks during the assaults.
The ISPR spokesperson stated that security forces responded promptly and effectively to the attacks. During the clearance operation, 12 terrorists were neutralized in three separate encounters. The attempt by the terrorists to take over the police station was also foiled. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who were involved in several acts of terrorism in the area.
The spokesperson emphasized that the counter-terrorism campaign will continue at full pace, and sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining potential threats in the region.
