Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire at Gul Plaza in Karachi and conveyed solidarity with the families of the deceased. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing on Sunday, he instructed that all necessary measures be taken to protect the lives and property of citizens and that all possible assistance be provided to affected traders and individuals.
The Prime Minister also directed all relevant agencies to work together during the rescue operation. He called for providing every possible facility to the injured and prayed for their speedy recovery.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of firefighter Furqan Ali, who lost his life during the rescue operations, stating that he sacrificed his life to save others. He prayed for Furqan Ali’s elevated status and for patience and strength for his family.
The Prime Minister also offered heartfelt condolences to the families of other victims and said that the government stands with them in their grief. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the incident and emphasized that every possible support and relief should be ensured for those affected.
