Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon Expresses Grief Over Gul Plaza Fire, Prioritizes Protection of Human Lives

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon expressed deep sorrow over the deadly fire at Karachi’s Gul Plaza, emphasizing that the protection of human lives is the top priority of the Sindh government. He stated that a detailed inquiry into the incident is underway and that government agencies responded immediately.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that extinguishing the fire and safeguarding lives remains the foremost priority, warning that anyone found negligent will face strict action. All available resources are being deployed to save lives. He stressed that this is not the time for politics but for focusing on relief operations and helping the victims of the tragedy.

He further stated that all cabinet members and government departments are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating rescue and relief operations efficiently. The Chief Minister of Sindh has ordered a full review of fire safety measures at Gul Plaza, warning that those found negligent will face severe consequences. Rescue teams, fire brigade personnel, and both federal and provincial agencies are working round the clock to control the fire. Sharjeel Inam Memon assured that the Sindh government stands with the victims and their families and will provide all possible support and assistance.
