Punjab Information Minister Praises Electric Bus Project, Criticises Opposition’s Politics

Lahore (Bureau Report):

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has said that political movements are not driven by “cinematic dialogues or firing arrows in the air,” while strongly criticising the opposition’s style of politics.

In a statement, the provincial minister said that electric buses have proved to be a blessing for the public during the winter season, providing citizens across Punjab with affordable and luxurious transport facilities. She added that the people of Punjab are grateful to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for introducing modern travel solutions.

Azma Bukhari stated that every project initiated by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is aimed at providing relief to the common man. She criticised the previous administration, saying that the people of Punjab were misled by figures like Usman Buzdar and “Gogi” in the recent past.

She further said that with the return of a representative government in Punjab, development and prosperity have also returned. According to her, equal development work is now underway in every district of the province, and the Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s manifesto focuses on national development and public welfare.

The information minister remarked that those who once claimed to launch street movements are now concerned only about protecting their seats. She added that mere rhetoric cannot sustain political movements, claiming that a “permanent resident of Adiala Jail” is suffering from frustration, and his politics of chaos has caused even his own supporters to abandon him.
