Islamabad (Imtisal Bukhari):
A one-day free medical camp was organized at the National Press Club Islamabad through the joint efforts of the Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ), National Press Club Islamabad, and the All Pakistan Association of Health and Medical Organizations. During the camp, journalists and their family members received free medical checkups, various laboratory tests, and medical consultations. Prizes were also distributed through a lucky draw at the conclusion of the event.
More than 15 renowned medical institutions and laboratories participated in the camp and provided their services.

At the end of the camp, a special ceremony was held in which certificates and awards were presented to distinguished guests and participating organizations. President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Afzal Butt, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Other participants included RIUJ President Tariq Ali Work, Vice President Bashir Usmani, Chairman of the All Pakistan Association of Health and Medical Organizations Saeedullah Jan Marwat, Secretary General Abdul Waheed Babi, President Malik Sajjad, Senior Joint Secretary RIUJ Gulzar Khan, Joint Secretary Mujahid Naqvi, Governing Body Member Nawabzada Shah Ali, along with a large number of journalists and prominent figures from the medical sector.
Medical institutions that actively participated in the camp included Capital Diagnostic Center, Umar Diagnostic Center, Saeed International Hospital, Ibne Sina Lab, Shaheen Lab, Universal Lab, Shifa Noor Foundation, Namood-e-Sahar Foundation, Irada Rehbar Center, Inspection Rehbar Center, NMRC Aesthetic, Diagnostic Hub, and other organizations, all of which provided free medical facilities to the journalist community.
The organizers described the initiative as an important step toward the welfare of journalists and stated that such welfare and social initiatives would continue in the future.
