As part of the Army Flood Relief Operation, a Pakistan Army relief team has successfully reached the flood-affected area of Neelban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, despite difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions.
According to the details, relief operations are actively underway in flood-hit regions of Mansehra, Neelban, and Battagram. Upon receiving distress reports from the local population, the army dispatched a relief team to Neelban. Due to impassable roads caused by landslides, the team had to travel over 8 kilometers on foot to reach the affected area.
Upon arrival, the team administered first aid to the injured, including a child and an adult, who were later shifted to the Rural Health Clinic in Chhatar Plain for further treatment. A medical camp was also set up in the area, where over 100 patients were provided medical assistance. The aid included medicines, food supplies, and clean drinking water, with special care extended to the most affected families, especially in the form of milk and essential food items.
Despite ongoing challenges including continuous landslides and weather-related disruptions, the army team also carried out road clearance work on their return journey and safely arrived back at Government High School Chhatar Plain.
Local residents expressed deep gratitude for the army’s timely intervention and humanitarian efforts, praising their commitment to supporting flood victims in their hour of need.
