In a major counter-terrorism success, Pakistan Army neutralized four active terrorists of the Indian-sponsored proxy group “Fitna-e-Hindustan” during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mastung district of Balochistan on September 12, 2025, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was launched after credible intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces swiftly surrounded the hideout and engaged the militants in a fierce exchange of fire. Four terrorists were killed during the encounter.
ISPR confirmed that the eliminated terrorists were involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region and were being supported and facilitated by hostile foreign agencies. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the site.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining threats.
The Pakistan Army reiterated its resolve to eliminate terrorism, especially foreign-sponsored activities, and to bring all anti-state elements to justice. The statement emphasized that Pakistan will continue to take decisive actions against those working to destabilize the country through external backing.
