President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari met with Ms. Hao, Vice President of the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Monday in Shanghai.
According to a statement from the Press Wing of the Presidency, Ms. Hao expressed her desire to establish a similar chamber of commerce in collaboration with Pakistan, aimed at strengthening economic ties and promoting business-to-business engagement between the two countries.
President Zardari and the First Lady appreciated the proposal and assured Ms. Hao of their full support for the initiative.
The President noted that the establishment of such a chamber would open new avenues for trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China, further deepening the strategic and commercial partnership.
