PM Shehbaz Sharif Vows to Transform Challenges into Opportunities Through Youth Empowerment and National Unity

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is focused on transforming national challenges into economic opportunities by providing modern technical and vocational training, along with dignified employment for the youth. He emphasized that collective efforts are being made to tackle the challenges arising from devastating floods.

In a special interview with Pakistan Television Digital on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said that the youth constitute a large portion of the population and can play a vital role in national development if equipped with the right skills. He stressed that the agriculture sector can benefit immensely through skilled manpower and that demographic challenges can be converted into opportunities through comprehensive training programs.

Speaking about the country’s economic situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed that Pakistan was on the brink of default during the fiscal year 2022-23. However, due to the relentless efforts of the government’s economic team and his personal commitment, the economy has been stabilized.

“We can confidently say today that Pakistan now has a stronger economy, made possible through exceptional teamwork, joint efforts, tireless hard work, and a shared sense of purpose,” he said.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the unprecedented damage caused by recent floods, stating that the economic losses were far greater than anticipated. He praised the coordinated response involving the federal government, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), provincial governments, and the Pakistan Armed Forces in addressing the crisis and providing relief.

Sharing his vision for the future, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “My dream is for Pakistan to rise with pride, achieve economic prosperity and development milestones, and emerge as a strong military power. I want Pakistan to be known as a nation of peace, prosperity, and collective success.”
