Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, warmly welcomed the recent Pak-Saudi defense agreement, congratulating Prime Minister of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz on this significant milestone. He stated that the agreement is a moment of joy for both the Pakistani and Saudi peoples and will further strengthen the unity of the entire Muslim Ummah.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf also extended his congratulations to Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces on this historic defense pact. He described Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as two shining stars of the Muslim Ummah, whose friendship and brotherhood are deep-rooted and enduring.
The federal minister emphasized that the Pak-Saudi defense agreement stands as a prime example of unity and brotherhood for the Muslim Ummah, with both nations being “one soul in two bodies.” He further added that the protection of the Two Holy Mosques is a great honor and source of pride, and that this agreement will provide strength and stability to the entire Muslim world.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf expressed confidence that the defense ties will elevate bilateral relations to new heights and play a crucial role in promoting peace and stability in the region. He also called the agreement a powerful symbol of solidarity within the Islamic world.
