Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the formal opening ceremony of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
The high-level participation reflects Pakistan’s commitment to engaging with the international community on global issues including peace, development, and cooperation under the UN framework.
