Former U.S. President Donald Trump has emphasized the urgent need for global cooperation to confront major challenges such as terrorism and climate change, while calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza to end the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, Trump stated that the world is facing multiple crises, and no country can afford the cost of wars and conflicts. He stressed that the United Nations must play a proactive role in ending global disputes, and reiterated that the United States will continue to contribute to peace efforts around the world.

“I take pride in having helped stop seven wars, including between Pakistan and India, which saved countless lives,” Trump said. “War is never the solution; disputes can only be resolved through peace agreements and diplomatic dialogue.”

Trump underlined the importance of addressing key regional issues such as Kashmir and emphasized the necessity of dialogue to resolve such long-standing conflicts.

He warned that without peace in South Asia, global peace is impossible. “Achieving peace in the Middle East remains a top priority for the United States, and we are committed to playing a constructive role in promoting stability in South Asia as well,” he said. He urged India to fulfill its responsibilities toward regional peace.

Speaking on the crisis in Gaza, Trump called for immediate and concrete steps toward lasting peace, stressing the urgency of a ceasefire to alleviate the humanitarian disaster in the region.

On the domestic front, Trump said his leadership helped bring inflation under control and deliver economic benefits to the American people. “The United States will no longer fight others’ wars but will continue to play its role in establishing global peace,” he concluded.
