French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that former U.S. President Donald Trump could only be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize if he succeeds in ending the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza.

In an interview with French media in New York, President Macron emphasized the urgent need to pressure Israel into halting its military operations in Gaza. “It is essential to push Israel to implement an immediate ceasefire,” Macron said.

He warned that continued violence and civilian casualties at the hands of the Israeli military would not be tolerated by the international community. “If the war in Gaza persists and Israeli forces continue killing civilians, we cannot remain silent,” he asserted.

Macron’s remarks come amid growing international condemnation of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and calls for immediate diplomatic intervention to end the bloodshed.
