Pakistan has expressed deep gratitude to the Government and people of Malaysia for their timely assistance and support in the aftermath of the recent floods in the country.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acknowledged and appreciated Malaysia’s swift response and active participation in Pakistan’s ongoing relief efforts following the natural disaster.
“We are thankful to the Government and people of Malaysia for standing with Pakistan during a time of need,” the statement read.
The spokesperson further emphasized that the recurring climate-induced disasters, such as the floods in Pakistan, highlight the urgent need for a collective global response to address the growing threat of climate change.
“The increasing frequency of such calamities due to climate change underscores the necessity for immediate and coordinated international action,” the spokesperson added.
