Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Highlights Strong Pakistan-Malaysia Ties, Calls for Boosting Beef Exports

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised Malaysia for consistently supporting Pakistan in times of difficulty, a gesture Pakistan deeply values. He emphasized the immense potential for enhancing trade between Pakistan and Malaysia and urged relevant authorities to take concrete steps to fully capitalize on this opportunity.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, the Prime Minister chaired a virtual meeting from New York on Saturday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral trade ties between Pakistan and Malaysia.

During the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the longstanding brotherly relationship between the two countries that has spanned decades. He acknowledged Malaysia’s unwavering support for Pakistan in challenging times, which Pakistan holds in high regard.

The meeting reviewed detailed aspects of trade relations between the two nations. The Prime Minister was briefed extensively on Pakistan’s export potential to Malaysia. During the session, he directed the formulation and presentation of a comprehensive action plan specifically focused on increasing the export of Pakistani beef to Malaysia.
