Punjab’s Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari has issued a strong response to the recent press conference held by Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nadeem Afzal Chan. Azma Bukhari suggested that Nadeem Afzal Chan might be suffering from mental stress, accusing him of deliberately spreading false propaganda against Punjab.
The minister stated that she has already shared the facts related to the baseless news with the media and warned that spreading false propaganda again would be punishable under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). She further added that according to the Defamation Law, she hopes Nadeem Afzal Chan will prove his claims in court.
Azma Bukhari’s remarks came as a rebuttal to allegations made by Nadeem Afzal Chan, emphasizing her stance against misinformation and her confidence in legal measures to address the issue.
