President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has strongly condemned the suicide bombing in Quetta attributed to the extremist group Fitna al-Khawarij, declaring that elements working on India’s agenda cannot undermine Pakistan’s peace and stability.
In a statement issued by the Presidency’s Press Wing on Tuesday, President Zardari praised the security forces for their swift and effective response and offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured Frontier Corps (FC) personnel.
“We will continue to foil the nefarious designs of India-backed miscreants,” the president stated, emphasizing that the growing desperation of Pakistan’s enemies reflects their failure and inevitable downfall.
President Zardari remarked that the regional and global landscape is shifting against anti-Pakistan forces and their proxies, leading them to a state of frustration and panic. He underscored that such attacks are the last resorts of defeated enemies trying to destabilize the country.
Reaffirming the nation’s unity, he said:
“Pakistan, its people, and its security forces, Insha’Allah, will prevail.”
The president reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to counter-terrorism, stressing that no act of violence can deter the resolve of the Pakistani people and its institutions in safeguarding national sovereignty.
The statement comes amid increased terrorist activities in Balochistan, which officials say are backed by foreign intelligence networks aiming to disturb regional peace.
