The Government of Azad Kashmir has once again extended an invitation to the Action Committee for negotiations amid the current tense situation in the region. Minister Faisal Rathore stated that the state is currently in a state of unrest, and the government holds the primary responsibility to protect the lives and property of its citizens.
He emphasized, “We are making every effort to maintain peace in the state. Lockdowns are a tradition of the Modi government, and such measures are not appropriate here.” Faisal Rathore added that resolving the present situation is impossible without dialogue and communication. He reiterated that the government has always kept the door open for talks with the Action Committee.
The minister further stressed that “it is not right to disrupt the daily lives of the people. The atmosphere in Azad Kashmir is one of peace and brotherhood, and it must be preserved.” He warned against creating conditions that could lead to losses on both sides, saying, “We do not want such circumstances in the state that would harm both parties involved.”
The government’s call for dialogue reflects its commitment to resolving the ongoing issues through peaceful means and maintaining harmony in the region.
