A Pakistani delegation, representing the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, actively participated in the “OIC Youth Capital 2025 – Volunteers and Youth Gathering” held in Morocco. The international conference was organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and brought together youth delegates from various OIC member states.
The gathering aimed to promote collaboration among youth in the Muslim world and explore joint opportunities for development, innovation, and social engagement.
Pakistan’s representation was led by Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. He shed light on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision for youth empowerment, highlighting key initiatives such as the “Digital Youth Hub”, which offers young people access to education, skills development, and employment opportunities.
Special Representative Maha Jameel also addressed the forum, emphasizing the importance of promoting volunteerism among youth. She showcased the positive social impact of youth-led community service initiatives in Pakistan, highlighting how young people are contributing to nation-building through civic engagement.
The Pakistani delegation’s participation in the event reflects the country’s commitment to youth development, regional cooperation, and prosperity across the Muslim world.
