Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions on Friday in Islamabad.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the committee reviewed the ongoing efforts related to the privatization of state-owned enterprises.
The discussions focused on finalizing government-to-government (G2G) arrangements aimed at ensuring the smooth transfer of assets to enhance operational efficiency. The committee also emphasized strengthening the role of the private sector in line with broader economic reforms.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Finance, Advisor on Privatization, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister M. Tariq Bajwa, Minister of State for Railways, and federal secretaries from the Ministries of Cabinet, Privatization, and Law, along with senior officials from relevant ministries and departments.
