The opening ceremony was attended by the special guest Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hassan Waqar Cheema and Director General PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha,
A large number of dignitaries and citizens of the city attended the ceremony. The participants welcomed this project of PHA and said that it is an excellent step to promote healthy and positive activities for the people.
PHA Rawalpindi is also ahead in terms of making the city beautiful and green, as well as promoting sports and providing healthy activities to the youth. On the special instructions of DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, a magnificent paddle tennis court has been built under the 6th Road Rawalpindi Flyover in a very short time. Its design and turf have been built state-of-the-art. Car parking facilities have also been provided in it. This is a very wonderful activity for the public from which everyone can benefit. Excellent lights have also been arranged in the tennis court for night hours. PHA Rawalpindi is also trying to make the city beautiful as well as promote sports activities.
Along with organizing cricket tournaments, arrangements are being made to provide other sports to the public. In the future, PHA Rawalpindi will implement wonderful projects for the promotion of sports. The construction of the paddle tennis court has been well received by the public.
