President Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industries Muhammad Ayub Miryani has said that the appointment of 28 new Trade and Investment Officers is a commendable step. He hoped that the newly appointed officers will leave no stone unturned in achieving the targets of national trade and investment. In the recent era, economic diplomacy has replaced political diplomacy, and trade and investment are the new pillars of global influence.
President Ayub Miryani suggested that they should focus on traditional and non-traditional exports and work to establish strategic partnerships with Chambers of Commerce, large retail chains, and multinational corporations in their host countries. The government and all stakeholders, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and the Board of Investment, deserve praise for ensuring a merit-based and transparent selection process.
