Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi has released details of the projects prepared for the beautification, upgradation and public amenities of Rawalpindi and Murree cities at the beginning of the new financial year,
DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that PHA is bringing many grand projects for the beautification of Rawalpindi city and maintaining the green environment in the new financial year,
He said that these projects include beautification and uplifting of Rawalpindi’s main highway Murree Road, in addition to beautifying all the pillars of the city, a plan to display Quranic verses and beautiful names is also included in the planning,
Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that the plan to display Durood Sharif in the form of a beautiful monument on the city’s main highway Rawal Road has also been included in the plan for the new financial year.
Along with this, 75,000 saplings will be planted on Rawalpindi Ring Road, which will help in promoting a green environment.
The DGPHA said that the expansion of the Gorakhpur Nursery over one thousand kanals and the plan to plant lakhs of saplings in this large nursery is also part of the plan for the new financial year.
According to DGPHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, various projects will be worked on in Murree city regarding recreational facilities and beautification for tourists.
In Rawalpindi city, various wonderful projects will be worked on regarding beautification, upgradation, provision of best recreational facilities to the public and promotion of a green environment.
Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that we are taking wonderful steps to make Rawalpindi city beautiful, green and provide best recreational facilities to the public as per the vision of the Punjab government. PHA is also striving to provide a healthy, beautiful environment to the public.
