The Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Kinza Murtaza, has reiterated the authority’s unwavering commitment to the recovery of outstanding dues. Emphasizing the urgency and importance of this initiative, she identified it as a top operational priority aimed at ensuring financial discipline and accountability within the organization.
The DG RDA directed all relevant directorates, particularly Planning Wing, Building Control, Estate Management and Land Directorate to intensify follow-up efforts aimed at ensuring the timely and effective recovery of dues. This initiative forms a critical component of RDA’s strategic plan for improved governance and service delivery.
She said the financial stability of RDA directly affects our ability to serve the citizens of Rawalpindi effectively. Recovery must be pursued proactively and in full compliance with our procedures, without delay or negligence.
She further emphasized the importance of coordination among departments, urging strict adherence to recovery protocols while maintaining transparency, efficiency, and accountability in all operations.
This renewed focus on financial recovery aligns with RDA’s broader mission to ensure sustainable urban development, backed by robust resource management and enforcement of regulations.

The DG RDA Kinza Murtaza has also directed to take strict actions against illegal housing schemes, illegal constructions and encroachments.
She said that the actions follow direct instructions from Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who has mandated a zero-tolerance policy on encroachments and illegal developments.
