On the special instructions of Director General PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi organized a tree plantation campaign at UC 15 Sirajia Park. Local school children, teachers and other dignitaries participated actively in the campaign. Teachers and children expressed their solidarity with PHA’s clean and green mission by planting saplings at Sirajia Park with great interest. On the instructions of Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, a tree plantation campaign is going on in full swing in the city.

Students of schools, colleges and universities are being included in the tree plantation campaign to highlight the importance of tree plantation among the public. Teachers and children of the local school appreciated the tree plantation campaign in Sirajia Park of PHA and said that the way in which children have been included in this healthy activity is a positive step and tree plantation will have a positive impact on the city’s climate. A large number of school children vowed to participate in the tree plantation campaign in schools, homes, streets and neighborhoods.

DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that the young generation is a valuable asset of the nation and they can take Pakistan to all stages of development. He added that trees and plants are of great importance for the lives of humans and animals. We will continue to educate the young generation about the importance of tree plantation and will also continue to encourage them to plant trees and keep the environment clean. The school children expressed their determination to fully participate in the PHA tree plantation campaign in the future as well.
