Egyptian Foreign Minister Congratulates Pakistan on Strategic Defense Pact with Saudi Arabia

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar received a congratulatory phone call from Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty on Thursday evening, following the signing of a bilateral strategic defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Friday, Dr. Abdel Aaty extended his heartfelt congratulations to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, describing the agreement as a significant milestone in strengthening mutual partnership, trust, and defense cooperation between the two brotherly nations.

During the conversation, both foreign ministers discussed recent regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of peace, stability, and economic development in the broader geopolitical context.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing multilateral cooperation and expressed eagerness for comprehensive discussions scheduled to take place next week on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
