Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has emphasized the Punjab Government’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare sector. Speaking at a special ceremony, she stated that significant improvements have been made at the Punjab Institute of Health Sciences to enhance medical facilities and services.
Maryam Aurangzeb highlighted that the largest cancer hospital in Punjab’s history is nearing completion, marking a major milestone in the province’s healthcare infrastructure.
She praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her active efforts in ensuring top-quality healthcare for the people of Punjab. “The Chief Minister is personally overseeing flood relief efforts and is deeply invested in the well-being of the affected communities,” she added.
The senior minister also noted that special attention has been given to the mental health of flood victims, acknowledging the psychological impact of natural disasters.
Under the “Clinic on Wheels” project, medical services are being delivered directly to people at their doorsteps, ensuring accessible healthcare for all, especially in remote and underserved areas.
The minister reiterated the government’s dedication to transforming the healthcare landscape of Punjab and ensuring that every citizen has access to modern medical care.
